Grey Leffler

Grey Leffler

Grey Leffler spent a lot of their early life bouncing around eastern Nebraska, and currently represents Omaha. Their love for social change and advocacy was sparked by their system involvement, and further propelled by their participation in competitive forensics.

Grey is currently serving as a member of the Nebraska Children and Families Foundation Advisory Board, which they joined in September 2020. Grey works full-time as a Direct Support Professional for adults with cognitive/developmental disabilities. They attended Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska, under the Human Services Program with a focus in substance abuse and addiction counseling.

Grey aspires to become a full-time advocate for marginalized communities, opening a coffee shop to act as a safe space for those who feel like they don't have a place in the world. To pass the time, Grey enjoys horror movies and spending quality time with their partner and their cats at home. They also enjoy writing and reading poetry and horror literature, and have recently taken up sewing and textile arts.
