Youth Town Hall with Congressman Don Bacon
Join Congressman Don Bacon in a statewide Town Hall discussion on Friday, Aug. 12 from 5:30-7 p.m to uplift the voices of young adults with lived experience in the foster care system and share solutions that you see are needed for foster care reform in Nebraska. This discussion is co-hosted by Nebraska Appleseed and Project Everlast. Topics covered will include: Support for older youth and transition services, Mental Health, Supportive relationships and Sharing of lived experiences. Food will be provided for in-person participants at the Project Everlast office in Omaha and registration is required.
