Virtual Statewide Town Hall & Listening Session
You’re invited to join Nebraska Appleseed for a VIRTUAL STATEWIDE town hall and listening session on the issue of racism and disproportionality in Nebraska’s child welfare system. This is in conjunction with Sen. McKinney’s interim study (LR 404) on this issue. While Senator McKinney will not be in attendance, the lived experiences shared during this town hall will still help inform his office on these issues. The event will be Wednesday, November 9 at 6 p.m. and registration is required.
