Virtual Evening of Lived Experience Voices on the Harms of Institutionalizing Youth
The evening will include a conversation with Sixto Cancel and Paris Hilton. Then, there will be a Lived Experience Table Talk that centers the voices of Sixto Cancel, Caroline Cole, Bobbi Taylor, Uvea Spezza Lopin, Alain Datcher and others who have witnessed the harms of institutionalization in foster care and other settings. This Talk will be moderated by Steve Clemons, Editor-at-Large, The Hill. The evening will include remarks from the Annie E. Casey Foundation about where we go from here.
