Nebraska American Rescue Plan-Homeless Children and Youth (ARP-HCY) Funding Status Check
Join the Nebraska Department of Education, Pearl Strategies, and SchoolHouse Connection for an American Rescue Plan-Homeless Children and Youth (ARP-HCY) funds "status check". The American Rescue Plan Act appropriated $800,000,000 specifically to help schools support students experiencing homelessness. This session will provide a quick refresher on ARP-HCY basics (authorizing statute, purposes, allowable expenses, timelines) and important updates from NDE on funds administration, data collection and reporting, and monitoring. We'll also explore how work initiated using ARP-HCY funds might be sustained after the ARP-HCY funds have been spent. Time will be provided for Q&A and discussion.
